Lakeland Terrier is originated from United Kingdom but Mini Sheepadoodles is originated from United States. Lakeland Terrier may grow 14 cm / 5 inches shorter than Mini Sheepadoodles. Lakeland Terrier may weigh 12 kg / 26 pounds lesser than Mini Sheepadoodles. Both Lakeland Terrier and Mini Sheepadoodles has almost same life span. The Lakeland Terrier hails from the lake district of England. They were bred to hunt foxes that were coming after the lambs during lambing season.
These dogs are connected to a number of terrier breeds such as the Bedlington-, Border-, Old English Black and Tan- as well as the Dandie Dinmont Terriers.
In 1921 the Lakeland Terrier Association was formed and the American Kennel Club registered a Lakeland in 1934.
The Mini Sheepadoodle is such a sweet, teddy bear of a dog. It comes from two awesome dog breeds – the Old English Sheepdog and the Miniature Poodle. It is thought that the dog originated in the USA.
They are two very different looking dogs, but their personalities are fairly similar. This designer dog isn’t purebred and isn’t registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC).
The Lakeland Terrier is a small to medium-sized dog which stands at between 33 – 38cm at the withers and weighs between 7 – 8kg.
